I read reviews before any stay. It happened to be an emergency. My family ( husband and 2 kids) needed somewhere to stay for 2 night. I was initially terrified of staying here. After checking in, we went to the room. It was clean and spacious. No bugs, the bathroom was very clean. Overall, we had a great stay. Beds are small and sliding door did not work. It was much nicer than i had imagined though. Tut he price was affordable and the location is great. Dont let all reviews scare you away. I was extremely skeptical but pleasantly surprised. Not a bad place to stay short term. Staff is not the most friendly or accommodating, but, really, after cheking in, you have no need. I definitely would not recommend breakfast yhere. There's a diner about ten steps away with incredible food.
Dated building but room was clean. Only thing that bugged me was as a Wyndham Gold member, I was given a hard time requesting a 1 hour extended check out. I spent 6 days there and had more to load back up than someone staying only 1 night. They should acknowledge their Gold members better. Otherwise everything else was fine.
Nice little Hotel for the price. Clean with a comfortable bed, good WI-FI. Really good heat/ac unit. Good continental breakfast has waffle maker, fresh bagels, toast, muffins, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, milk and oj. Sliding doors with porch or balcony in rooms are pretty cool, even though the doors are a little aged. Vernon Diner is basically part of the hotel as it is closer to the rooms than the check-in lobby. Overall cute place, we had fun and we're very satisfied for the price.
We had a nice stay here. But the housekeepers need a bigger to do list. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. The drain in the tub was FULL of hair and wouldn't drain. The air vents were disgusting! The a/c filters was NASTY. All of this should be done daily. But we had a good stay. Everything else was good. If I could add pictures I would.
I love this place. Stayed 4 nights. Friendly staff. Friendly guests. Swam the entire time. Great diner in the parking lot. My room was next to the pool so I could watch my dog. clean sheets. relax by the pool. Room was clean. Pet friendly. Bagels or toast with cream cheese for breakfast or and coffee and waffles.
Staff very helpful kind good people. Room was completely clean and everything worked. AC gets room really cool Many good restaurants nearby and balcony great to get some sun Highly recommend!
LOCALLY OWNED. CALL BEFORE YOU BOOK. They will work with you on prices. Talk to them and they will make every effort to fix anything they can for you. Overall a budget friendly decent stay. Good choice for work. If you need good wifi I'd check other places. It works OK but don't expect to stream movies or use a gaming system here.
I really enjoyed staying here. I was in town here for the NCAA Lacrosse Championship weekend. The room was very clean, the location of the hotel was idea, plenty of stores & a nice restaurant "Vernon Diner" next door, and above all the ladies at the front desk were so nice, professional, and wonderful.
